WATCHMEN

Writer: Alan Moore
Artist: Dave Gibbons
Genre: Mystery/Superheroes
Volume: 1
Publisher: DC Comics
Website: www.dccomics.com
Suggested for Mature Readers

Review:

Published in the mid/late eighties, WATCHMEN represents the epitome of what comic books could be….smart, complex and relevant.

WATCHMEN is considered (by both comic and non-comic readers alike) as one, if not THE greatest comic book ever published.

Written by Alan Moore, WATCHMEN analyzes how superheroes will interact in the real world. I cannot begin to describe how genuine the characters and their reactions are.

WATCHMEN is so complex that Moore specifically designed the story to be presented in the comic book format only. No other medium could give WATCHMEN justice even if they try to adapt the book in another format.

So if you want to read one of the best books the comics medium has to offer, you can never go wrong with WATCHMEN.

Other works:
From Hell (Eddie Campbell Comics), Promethea (ABC/Wildstorm Comics), Top 10 (ABC/Wilstorm Comics), Snakes & Ladders (Top Shelf Productions), Captain Britain (Marvel Comics)
