Review:
Think the X-files but set in a world where superheroes
are real!
Meet Elijah Snow, Jakita Wagner and The Drummer -
archeologists of the unknown.
They are the Planetary, a group of people who tries
to uncover the dark secrets of the universe.
If you think this sound cheesy -"archeologists
of the unknown", well, better give Planetary the
benefit of the doubt first before you judge a book
by its cover.
You'll be amazed how Warren Ellis crafts his so-called "episodes".
It just grabs you by the neck and yells at you to shut-up
and pay attention.
And with Cassaday's magnificent and eye-popping art,
you'll be transported to a world you wish you lived
in.
Other works:
W. Ellis: Ministry
of Space (Image Comics), Transmetropolitan (Vertigo/DC Comics), Stranger
Kisses (Avatar Press)
J. Cassaday: Captain
America (Marvel Comics)
