Kat Farell has landed her dream job at the greatest newspaper company The Daily Bugle. However, the section she was assigned to is the least of her wishes which is "capes" - the section about superheroes. Upon returning to her desk (from another boring interview with johnny storm, one of the members of the world famous Fantastic Four), she noticed that someone has left a map of new york city with "x" marks on it. Intrugued, she immediately researched and visited the "x" spots on the map.

Unknowingly, these marks are the location where 4 "super-villains" were mysteriously murdered. This is the break the Kat is looking for. That one break that can make her editor notice her and remove her from the stupid "capes" section. But is she willing to stake her life for the promotion she is eagerly waiting for.

Great read and quite enexpected ending!
