Reviews:
Wow! What can i say? Little Lit: It Was a Dark
and Silly Night is just amazing. From the writing and art
to the packaging. Kudos goes to
Art Spiegelman and Françoise Mouly for this
great, GREAT book!
Actually, this is the first time i got to read the
book although i heard a great deal of buzz & praise
for this title. Good thing the good people of Harper
Collins send me a sample of their product (even though
i just got to reading it since i got VERY busy with
my day job).
Little Lit: It Was a Dark and Silly Night is an anthology by some of the more or less
obscure creators (except for neil gaiman and what i
mean of obscure is that the creators involved are not
your typical "mainstream comics" creators)
writing stories for kids. Yap, you heard me right.
This is a book FOR KIDS. But it doesn't mean that teens/adults
won't enjoy it.
Little Lit: It Was a Dark and Silly Night is just wonderful to behold!!! So aside
from the great stories/art, the book also has games/puzzles!!!
It's really one complete package. So if you have any
young niece or cousins having their birthday soon,
this is DEFINITELY a great gift to give them!
Other works:
Coraline, Wolves
in the Wall (Neil Gaiman)
