Review:
The best way to describe Hellboy: Wake the Devil is
mix X-files and the great B-monster movies of the 60's.
Hellboy
is
about a hellish-looking paranormal investigator who
investigates.... uhmm.... the paranormal. If you liked
the X-files (before it got too complicated for itself)
or Roswell, i highly recommend you try the book out.
If the premise is not too enticing, just take a look
at the moody (read: gorgeous) art of Mignola. The art
alone is worth every penny you spend on the book. PLUS,
Hellboy the Movie is now on its production stage as
we speak - directed by Guillermo del Torro (Blade2,
Mimic)!!!!
