If there is one Wonder Woman book that new readers
should give a try then Wonder Woman: The Hiketeia is
THAT book.
The Hiketeia is an amazon ritual that binds a person
(asking for protection) to another. In this case, a murderer has asked Princess Diana (aka Wonder
Woman) for protection. What makes matter worse is that the
murderer is from Gotham City which means that the big
ol' scary Batman is just right behind the murderer's
tail and a confrontation between Wonder Woman and Batman
is inevitable.
Aside from a great premise, Wonder Woman:
The Hiketia also boasts the not-too-often-seen-drop-dead-gorgeous
art of J.G Jones which he again proves why he is one
of the best artists on the market today.
BUY!BUY!BUY! The confrontation between Wonder
Woman and Batman alone makes the book all worth while...=)
