Reviews:
From the mind of Mr. Warren Ellis comes STORMWATCH,
a United Nation sanctioned superteam formed to stop
ANY threat the world may encounter – maybe it
be supernatural in nature or not.
Stormwatch is THE superhero team book of the nineties.
I know this seems that the book is outdated since we’re
already in the 21st century. But if ever there was
a superhero team book that raised the standard of superhero
comics at that time, this is that title. Just imagine
the FBI composed of superhumans (as the police force)
then mix-in some high tension drama/politics between
the members/superior, then you have one of the realistic
(in comics anyway) portrayals of superheroes.
Other works:
Stranger
Kisses (Avatar Press), Planetary (DC Comics),
Transmetropolitan (DC Comics), Ministry
of Space (Image Comics), MeK (DC Comics)
