KINGDOM COME

Writer: Mark Waid
Artist: Alex Ross
Genre: Superheroes/Adventure
Volume: 1
Publisher: DC Comics

Recommended for All Ages

Reviews:

In a dark, apocalyptic future an exiled-middle aged Superman returns to active duty to try to control the excalating violence among the superhumans.

But is one man enough for such a herculean task?

With iconic characters of Kingdom Come, a great story and gorgeous fully painted art by Alex Ross, this is one of the BEST superhero comic books you could find on the shelf.

I would go further to say that the book is much, much better than the movie coz all of the characters are well fleshed out and the dialogue is dead-on. You'd think Bendis is just a teenager.

Other works:
A. Ross: Marvels (Marvel Comics), Uncle Sam (Vertigo/DC Comics), Superman:Peace on Earth (DC Comics), Earth-X (Marvel Comics)
M. Waid: Ruse (Crossgen Comics)
